We are looking for some who loves Jesus and loves Middle School Students to join our team in a unique part-time leadership role! This position works closely under the leadership of the Director of Middle School Ministries to help create, implement, and lead our weekly ministry programs, as well as camps and retreats. This role is key in running two simultaneous midweek programs for younger (5th & 6th grade) and older (7th & 8th grade) middle school students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing spiritual and programmatic leadership for one of our two middle school midweek programs
  • Supporting the Director of Middle School Ministries in developing and implementing our ongoing ministry programs
  • Leading a team of volunteers and helping to coach interns
  • Providing ongoing communications with students and parents
  • Developing biblical messages and teaching as needed
  • Leading and supporting camps and special events
  • Supporting our church's overall mission of reaching people and following Jesus

  • Ability to connect and relate well with middle school students
  • Strong communication and collaboration with both students and adults

  • Creative initiative, positive attitude, and sense of humor
Terms of Employment
  • Hours: 25 hours/week
  • Compensation: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour
