Christ-Centered Cancer Support Group

The meetings of the Christ-Centered Cancer Support Group are a time of caring, sharing, and prayer facilitated by cancer survivors Geri Hackett and Marcia Davis.

"The Great Physician, Jesus, took my right hand and walked with me through this valley of cancer. Even though it has been the most difficult period of my life, it has simultaneously been the most spiritually satisfying. Jesus revealed Himself to me in many extremely touching ways and showed me His love, even when I felt unlovable. Although I didn't always sense His presence, He stayed with me each moment of every day and night. Giving me His strength in my weakness and the ability to press on, He was there for me when I wished I would just die and get it over with. Jesus will also help you to carry your cross and inspire you with His messages of love and comfort as you walk this craggy and treacherous path."  —Excerpt from Jesus Cares about Your Cancer by Geri Hackett
