ON CAMPUS PROJECTS

HYGIENE BAGS FOR SF CITY IMPACT & CITY TEAM
9:30AM – 11:30PM // DANVILLE

Our volunteers will fill 300 bags with personal hygiene items, which will be handed out to the homeless via CityTeam in Oakland and City Impact in San Francisco. 


CARE BAGS FOR REVIVE / RENEW
9:30AM -11:30AM // DANVILLE
Our volunteers will fill care packages for women who have been rescued from sexual trafficking. Revive/Renew is providing a long term restorative home and service to young women rescued out of sexual slavery with the goal of reintegration into society as women of hope and purpose. 

VALLEY PREGNANCY CENTER
9:30AM – 11:30PM // DANVILLE

Our volunteers will purchase and assemble layettes for Valley Pregnancy Center. VPC offers a safe and caring place where women, facing an unplanned, unexpected or crisis pregnancy, can find confidential information regarding options available to her.


CARE-PACKAGES FOR MISSION PARTNERS
9:30AM – 11:30PM // DANVILLE

Our volunteers will fill a box with items of “love and encouragement” to send to our mission partners overseas! CPC is blessed to support mission partners all over the world, and we’re excited to send them surprise packages from our CPC family!


BLUE STAR MOMS
9:30AM – 1PM // DANVILLE

Our volunteers will fill 200 bags of food and water supplement packages to show our appreciation for active military personnel from the Tri-Valley. Following in the footsteps of our grandmothers and mothers, Blue Star Moms have mailed “a little bit of home” to our sons and daughters serving around the world. 


CPC PRE-SCHOOL
9:30AM – 1PM // DANVILLE
Come help the pre-school meet their objectives to explore and play in the great outdoors. Project includes painting and building. Great for teens, small groups and adults.



OFF CAMPUS PROJECTS 

BROOKDALE MEMORY CARE FACILITY
9:30AM – 11:30AM // DANVILLE
Each member of our team will visit with residents, play games, complete a craft project and sing. Brookdale provides services that are dedicated to the special care of seniors with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.   Great for teens, small groups and adults.

DEL AMIGO HIGH SCHOOL
9:30AM – 1:00PM // DANVILLE
Join us for cleaning and gardening at this local High School. We have an incredible opportunity to do follow up work at Del Amigo.  Great for teens, small groups and adults.

DOWN SYNDROME CONNECTION
10:00AM – 2:00PM // PLEASANT HILL

The Step Up for Down Syndrome walk is at Pleasant Hill Middle School. There are several opportunities to volunteer at the event, or you can simply walk at the event in support of the Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area and all the families they support. Once you sign up, you will receive details regarding both options! Great for young families and teens.  


POLICE AND FIRE

ALL DAY // DANVILLE

Our local police and firemen are our heroes. This is our chance to pour kindness & compassion into them! As a volunteer, you will get to sign up to cook part of a meal and then meet the rest of the volunteers at the police/fire station to deliver the meal. In addition, each volunteer will bake a plate of goodies and include a note to give a firefighter OR police officer. Great for families with infants & toddlers.


HOME CARE FOR CPC SENIORS
9:30AM – 1PM // DANVILLE
Be a blessing to a few of our CPC seniors by helping with basic yard work and landscaping. Great for a small group.

 

EAST BAY PARKS

9AM - NOON // WALNUT CREEK

We will be taking a part of the Iron Horse train near Rudgear exit and raking up leaves, picking up litter and pruning brush. Great for teens and adults (no children under 13 as bikers and runners will be using the trail).

SAN FRANCISCO CITY IMPACT
Sunday, 1PM – 4:30PM // SAN FRANCISCO
Adopt a Building is transforming lives in the Tenderloin with the love of Jesus one building at a time.  Volunteers needed for meal prep and delivery. Great for teens, small groups and adults (please note: Meal Delivery and Building Parties volunteers must be 18 and older or at least 14 accompanied by parent)

RESTORE MINISTRY
9:30AM – NOON // CONCORD
Each member of our team will help feed the homeless and help at one of their four recovery homes. In America, 23 million people suffer from alcohol and drug addiction. RESTORE cares for those that are addicted and homeless, have lost their job, have no insurance or money, but still desire to break free from addiction.   Great for teens, small groups and adults.

MONUMENT CRISIS CENTER
9:30AM – NOON // CONCORD
This project involves touch up paint, organizing and cleaning their kitchen, gardening, organizing and sorting food room, clerical work and general cleaning.  Children can also make cards or place mats for an upcoming Senior Moments program.  Great for all ages and stages.

RICHMOND PARKS AND REC
9:30AM – NOON // RICHMOND
Join us at 1 of 3 locations for landscape and gardening, painting and organizing!  The city of Richmond has 11 centers around town that provide after school care and senior assistance.  Great for teens, small groups and adults.

PITTSBURG GROUP HOME

9:30AM – NOON // PITTSBURG

Our volunteers will help paint this four bedroom group home. This home helps abused and neglected at risk teen girls recover. This is a four bedroom group home housing 6 girls.

KIDS AGAINTS HUNGER
9am, 11am or 1pm // PLEASANTON
This organization provides fully nutritious food to impoverished children and families around the world...and around the corner. Choose a time slot and come help package the food and learn about the countries and people they are partnering with! Great for families! Kids must be 2nd grade and older.

SHEPHERDS GATE 
9:30AM – NOON // LIVERMORE
They have provided Christ-centered services and housing to over 11,000 battered and homeless women and children! At this site you will help organize and sort the clothes in the Thrift Store. Great for teens, small groups and adults.

OAKLAND CITY TEAM
9AM – 12:30PM // OAKLAND
Join us at CityTeam were we will take on two projects, removal of old carpet and buffing the wood underneath, and painting several of the resident rooms. Great for teens, small groups and adults.

 

SHELTER INC

9:30AM - NOON // MARTINEZ

Join this location for food prep and serving, kids program and minor painting and general clean up! Great for teens, small groups and adults.
