WHY IS CONNECTING SO IMPORTANT?
CPC exists to help people meet Christ and live as His disciples. This is accomplished when we WORSHIP, CONNECT & SERVE together: both at Weekend Services AND in Small Group communities. When we gather with others we can explore what we believe, learn to apply biblical truths and have partners on our journey. It’s in community that real life change happens.
MOVING FROM ROWS TO CIRCLES: GROUPS AT CPC
To grow spiritually, you need to be connected relationally. CPC has different types of groups for every age and every stage. Each group is as unique as its participants! Groups may study the Bible, go deeper with the sermon material, or explore topics of interest (parenting, marriage, basics of faith, etc.). Here is an overview of the different types of groups at CPC:
Not Sure Where to Start? Join us for STARTING POINT
Starting Point is an 8-session exploration of the Bible's grand story and where you fit into it. You will be part of a conversational small group environment where you can explore faith and experience community. This study is for SEEKERS, STARTERS, RETURNERS and BELIEVERS...EVERYONE! Join us on Wednesday evenings, September 5-October 24, 7:00-8:30pm, Room 100. Workbooks are available for $12.
Small Groups are a gathering of 10-12 people who meet primarily off campus, and are usually comprised of similar age/stage people (i.e., young adults, singles, parents, empty nest, retired, etc.), and meet weekly or bi-monthly. To explore what groups are currently available, please see the Group Finder at the bottom of this web page.
Adult Ministry Programs:
These on-campus programs for men and women offer discussion groups as part of a large group speaker series or Bible study. Both Men's and Women's Ministry programs run Fall through Spring and have several options. Commitment level: Groups meet weekly, drop in available for some venues.
