Who teaches my kids during their Sunday School hour?
While our CPC Kids team writes and creates the lessons each week, your children are taught and lead by the phenomenal volunteers each week. The steadfast commitment of our volunteer large group leaders, lead teachers, and small group leaders is what makes our all of our programs and our entire ministry to children possible. Volunteers are just like you — moms of young kids, dads who coach soccer, church members who just want to give back, or high school students who love hanging out with kids. All of our volunteers apply and are trained by CPC Kids staff and our adult volunteers are background checked to ensure your child’s safety. If you would like to join the team of volunteers that make our programs possible, please check out our website for opportunities:
What's Super Sunday? On the last Sunday of the month, we have called "Super Sunday" for our elementary aged kids. What we do changes month to month; sometimes it's Kids Church for kids run by kids, sometimes Rotation Stations that have kids switching activities in different rooms around the church, and sometimes it's our Bible Bowl trivia game! Every Super Sunday always ends program in the Chapel so pick up for 1st -4th will be from the chapel at the end of service. After pick up, come on by room 116 for our Kids Karts where kids can turn in their hard earned Bible Bucks for all kinds of treasures and enjoy a donut hole!. We also have a "just for parents" section with goodies for parents, so come check it out!
Where do I pick-up my kid(s)?
Sending your kids off during the Sunday worship service and picking them up afters can be confusing. Here's an easy pick-up guide to your child's location after Sunday School:

- Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten - Room 100 across the Courtyard from the Multipurpose Room.
- 1st - 2nd Grade - Room 116 at the end of the Courtyard.
- 3rd - 4th Grade - Room 200 across the Courtyard and up the stairs.

Children worshiping with their families for the first 15-20 minutes of the service is the norm for all of our services. Children worshiping with their parents and connecting with all generations of our congregation allows the children as well as the church family to recognize them not as the "future" of the church but as young members of our congregation singing praises to our Father.
"Through the praise of children and infants, you have established a stronghold against your enemies." Psalms 8:2
Children need to see their parents worshiping God and actively engaging their faith in a visible way. In these moments, a child witnesses faith and worship to those who matter most to them. There are fewer greater encouragements to a child's faith than witnessing their parent(s) worship God with reverence and joy! This is why we "Worship First"!
If you arrive after the dismissal, simply walk your child to their classroom and we will quickly get a name tag and security pick-up tag for you in their classroom. We ask that families wishing their younger children (Preschool - Kindergarten) to join them during Worship First escort those younger children to their classrooms following Worship First.
