Baptism is the church's proclamation and experience that we are who we are because God first chose us and loved us and called us into His kingdom. In Baptism, we participate in Jesus' death and resurrection by dying to what separates us from God and by being raised to newness of life in Christ. (Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; 1 Peter 3:21)

It is our desire to not only tell you a bit more about who we are as a church family, but to help you understand what it means for us to be a Presbyterian Church and the Sacraments we celebrate.
Below is a short video with an in depth explanation of these two subjects. Please watch these two videos prior to class and write down any of your comments or questions. You will be given an opportunity to ask Bill during the Membership Class.

Infant/Child Baptism or Dedication
Baptism is available to the infants of parents who are active attendees of CPC. Parents wanting to reserve the time of their child's personal profession of faith in Christ through baptism, may present their children for dedication. Baptism, whether administered to those who profess their faith or to those presented for Baptism as children, is the same Sacrament.
The baptism of infants witnesses to the truth of God's gracious initiative, that God loves us even before we are able to respond in faith. The baptism of adults and children witnesses to the truth that God's grace can make us new creations at any stage of our lives.
CPC Adult Baptism
Baptism is a sacrament that is received only once. If you have not been baptized as a child, you may choose to be baptized by sprinkling or immersion. Please complete the baptism form below.
