What is the ratio of students to teachers?
2 year old class: 4 students per teacher. 3 year old classes: 5 students per teacher. 4 and 4-5 year old classes: 6 students per teacher.
How long have the teachers been with the preschool?
The average at this time is 15 years.
What are the curriculum lessons?
Every week there is a theme with a lesson and a project based on the theme for all ages. You can view the weekly theme calendar for the current year here. In addition, there are weekly lessons for the MWF and PM programs on Bible, Language, Math, Music, Perceptual Motor, Pre-reading/ writing skills, Spanish, and Science. For the three-year-olds, the curriculum presentations include, Bible, Fine Motor Skills, Music. Perceptual Motor Skills, and Pre-reading/writing. There are free choice interest centers and the playground is available much of the time in each session.
What kind of religion is taught at your school?
We are a Christian preschool. The children in all classes have a Bible story weekly. At the beginning of the year, they will learn about God and His creation. Many Old Testament stories are presented prior to Christmas, and then New Testament stories are presented starting at Christmas time through Easter. After Easter, there are more New Testament Bible stories and some life application lessons.
Do you provide before and after school daycare?
No, we do not.
