Wycliffe Bible Translators - Julie & Meinardo Hernandez

After graduation in 1996, Julie joined the Wycliffe organization. She spent a year ministering at a Hispanic church in San Diego where she improved her Spanish and grew in her excitement for the Mexican culture. After completing her linguistic training in 1998, she moved to Mexico and worked with speakers of a minority language. There she met her husband, Meinardo, who also worked for Wycliffe. They share their ministry and Bible translation. Together they are working on a translation project for the Oaxian languages.

Mike Silva Evangelism – Ben Brandfas

Ben is working with Mike Silva Evangelism and other ministries that have crusades in Latin America and around the world.  His responsibility is to work on the logistics and technical aspects of the crusades.  Ben’s primary job during the crusade is sound engineering.  He oversees the entire setup of the stage, sound systems and lights.  The crusades reach an average of 30,000 – 40,000 people each night of the 2 night crusade.  Typically around 2000 people receive Christ at each crusade and the local churches usually double in size. Towns and cities are changed for Christ after these crusades.  www.brandfas.com
