This fall, elementary children in 2nd – 5th grade will be diving into “The Hole in Our Gospel” right along with their parents. Each week children will be taught a Bible lesson that demonstrates how important it is to God that we love and care for one another. Additionally, we will examine hands-on ways that we can make a difference in our world.
Weekly Topics:
Week 1: God calls us to Care for the World – Love your neighbor as yourself.
Week 2: How Does God Want Me to Care for Others? – Parable of the sheep & goats. Week
Week 3: God Wants Us to be Generous with What He Has Given Us – Parable of the rich fool.
Week 4: God Gives Us Resources and Special Talents – Parable of talents.
Week 5: Take Time to Show God’s Love and Care to Others – The story of the Good Samaritan.
