The People Meeting Christ Foundation (PMCF) was formed in 1999 as a tax-exempt charitable foundation, for the purpose of supporting the vision and growth of Community Presbyterian Church (CPC) in Danville, California. One of the Foundation’s primary objectives is the acquisition of property adjacent to the present CPC campus which can be used for new and expanded Christian ministry and school facilities. As of June 2005, PMC has acquired or has ontrolled eight houses adjacent to the CPC campus and will continue to monitor opportunities in the immediate area.

Community Presbyterian Church has served the San Ramon Valley for over 150 years. From its founding in 1852, CPC has been characterized by long-term growth and by the support and continuing generosity of its members and donors. In 1952, the Chapel was constructed on the current West El Pintado Road site and in 1979, the adjacent 600-seat Sanctuary was completed. In 1986, the Equipping Center was opened, which is now home to the San Ramon Valley Christian Academy and Community Presbyterian Preschool serving over 600 students from preschool through eighth grade.

Today, less than 15% of San Ramon Valley residents regularly attend church. It is projected that the Valley will add over 40,000 residents in the next five years. As the largest church in the Valley, CPC seeks to bring more San Ramon Valley residents into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

The People Meeting Christ Foundation provides a tax-favored vehicle for individuals, families, trusts and estates who wish to support both the current and future ministries of Community Presbyterian Church. PMCF receives donations of cash, stock, vehicles, property and other assets, and assists donors who wish to support the future work of CPC ministries by designating PMCF as a named beneficiary in their trust or estate plans.

CPC exists to serve Christ. The PMC Foundation exists to serve CPC. Over the years, the financial gifts of CPC members and donors have prepared a strong foundation from which to expand the cause of Christ in the San Ramon Valley. The People Meeting Christ Foundation seeks to extend the ministries of Community Presbyterian Church today and for generations to come.
