The saying goes "if you're at the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on!" Are you going through a divorce or separation and feel like you are just hanging on while everyone around you is already moving forward?
DivorceCare through CPC provides a safe and caring community of those just like you, led by facilitators who have been there, just like you. It is a Biblically-centered 13 week course to help you navigate this new journey and help you to, not only hang on, but make your way back up that rope towards healing through faith. DivorceCare features experts in the area of divorce and allows for ample group discussion on each topic.

What are participants saying about the benefits of DivorceCare?
- Understanding that there are other people going through the same difficulties.
- Having my feelings understood and validated. Seeing that it’s okay to feel angry.
- Knowing that I am not alone
- I re-learned that many people look pretty and together from the outside, but inside we are in such pain. DC allowed me to see beneath the veneer, to be real and honest, and still be okay
- DC helps me to see that others feel this pain, that I am not lost, that I can recover, that I have value and worth, and that I have hope.
- Learning from others who are further along in the divorce process.
- Sharing of information about how to maneuver through the process of legal divorce.
- I felt so welcome, gaining support and lasting friendships.
- DivorceCare gives me a place where I can open up and begin to process the pain and losses. I can see progress in others, and also in myself.
- The workbook is awesome! The information is helpful, questions thoughtful. I’ve been through the series a couple of times. Re-reading my comments in my workbook helps me to see my growth
- Others in the group are helping me to know that I am okay, I can stand up for myself, I can manage life without my spouse, I can be confident in myself and know that it’s okay to reach out for help when I need it.
- DC has helped me to learn about setting safe boundaries.
- DC brought me back to God – I realized once again that God is in charge, that I can have confidence in knowing He is always there and will never leave me
- DC helped me help my kids through the divorce. We were able to deal better with our hurt and anger and begin to talk to one another.
- DC helped me to understand better how to prepare for and maneuver through the holidays.
- This program gave me a guide, giving me things to work on to get back to who I am.
